About Rawturns Heating & Air and How Referrals Work

A referral service, not a repair company
Rawturns Heating & Air helps homeowners with a broken or failing air conditioner find independent local providers. We do not send our own trucks, and we do not do the work. The provider you speak with sets the price, schedules the visit and answers for the job.
Why this site exists
Cooling failures are stressful, and the price is often the scariest part. Some people panic and accept the first quote. Others wait too long and pay more. Rawturns Heating & Air was built for the space in between. It explains what happens as hours and days pass, so you can see why timing shifts cost. Then it nudges you to compare before you commit.
How matching works
You describe the problem through the request form or by phone. We pass the details to providers in our network who serve your area and handle that kind of work. A provider may then contact you to talk it through and offer a visit. Availability varies. Many providers can respond quickly, but we cannot promise timing.
What we expect from providers
We ask providers in our network to:
- Hold the licenses and insurance their state or city requires
- Explain the problem in plain words
- Give quotes in writing before work starts
- List parts and labor separately when asked
- Respect your choice if you want to compare
Providers are independent businesses. They answer for their own work and prices.
What we do not do
We do not diagnose your system, repair it, install anything or set prices. We do not pressure anyone to hire. We do not give legal or insurance advice. If you wonder whether a policy covers sudden damage, check your policy and ask your insurer.
How we are paid
Providers in our network may pay Rawturns Heating & Air for connecting them with homeowners. You are not charged by Rawturns Heating & Air for the connection. Your only cost is what you agree to with the provider, and that should be on a written quote first. Being paid by providers does not change our advice: compare more than one quote when you can.
A word on price
Typical U.S. costs vary a lot. Small AC repairs often run from about $150 to $600. A compressor or coil job can climb into the thousands. A full system replacement often falls between $5,000 and $12,000, depending on size, ductwork and equipment. These are rough ranges. Only a written quote reflects your home.
